No Pulaski 72-Hour Release List
The Pulaski County Sheriff's online jail system does not provide a rolling release-in-the-last-three-days feed. Its available views cover current inmates, arrests booked in the last 24 hours, and inmates grouped by arrest date. The Inmates by Arrest Date view is the best local online starting point because research found “RELEASED” statuses there.
That date filter applies to arrest or booking dates. It does not filter by release date. Someone arrested months ago could be released during the three-day window yet fall outside a search limited to recent arrests. The reverse is also true. A person arrested within the last three days may still appear as “CURRENTLY BOOKED.” This mismatch is the key limit of the Pulaski County 72 hour release method.
Search Pulaski Three-Day Releases
A three-day search works best when the arrest itself was recent. Use a slightly wider booking range if the exact arrest date is uncertain. Check every page of results, then narrow the record by its identifiers and court data.
- Open Inmates by Arrest Date and set a start and end date that cover the relevant three days of arrests or bookings.
- Review all result pages. The report uses pagination, so the first screen may not include the right person.
- Match name, arrest date, sex, height, weight, charge, warrant, and court where those details are shown.
- Read the status on each row. Keep “RELEASED” results separate from “CURRENTLY BOOKED” results.
- Check the current jail roster to see whether the person remains in the live county population.
- Contact Pulaski County Jail at (478) 783-4011 for the exact release date, time, reason, and any transfer destination.
The current roster and arrest-date report answer different parts of the question. A current status supports continued local custody. A released status supports the end of that Pulaski booking. Neither online view promises the exact hour when processing ended.
Note: For a same-day booking check, Jail Releases: 24 Hours explains why Pulaski's 24 Hours Arrests tab is not a release feed.
Pulaski Results Mix Custody Statuses
The arrest-date page does not contain only released people. During the research review, its first page showed several “RELEASED” rows and at least one “CURRENTLY BOOKED” row. A reader who assumes the full result set is a release list can therefore reach the wrong conclusion. Each status must be read on its own.
This mixed design is still useful. Many jail sites discard a person from the only public view after release, but Pulaski's recent arrest-date rows can remain visible with a released status. The report creates a limited recent-history path. No official permanent retention period was found, however, so an older row may disappear or fall outside a practical search window.
| Online result | Safe conclusion | Next source |
|---|---|---|
| CURRENTLY BOOKED | The person remains in Pulaski County Jail according to the displayed report. | Jail for current confirmation and court for case status. |
| RELEASED | The displayed Pulaski County custody event has ended. | Release log for time, reason, and destination. |
| No row found | No conclusion about whether an arrest or release occurred. | Jail records, court docket, VINE, or another custody agency. |
| Hold or transfer clue | County custody may have ended while other custody continued. | The named receiving agency. |
“Released” should not be changed to “free.” A county release can be a transfer to GDC, another county, federal authorities, or ICE. The destination is part of the formal record.
Pulaski 72-Hour Report Fields
The visible fields provide enough detail to distinguish many people and locate the matching case. They do not form a complete release certificate. Use them to build a sound request, not to infer facts the report does not display.
| Field | Use in a three-day check |
|---|---|
| Name | Starts the match, but should be paired with other identifiers. |
| Status | Shows RELEASED or CURRENTLY BOOKED in the relevant views. |
| Sex, height, weight | Help distinguish people with similar names. The displayed address was redacted. |
| Arrest date | Controls the date-range search. It is not the release date. |
| Days in jail | Gives an approximate custody span, not an official release timestamp. |
| Total bond | May show an amount, NOT SET, or DENIED, but does not prove a bond-out. |
| Warrant and charge data | Includes counts, statute, description, and offense level for case matching. |
| Court | Directs the reader to the docket that may explain the release. |
Image controls also appear in the report. They indicate a booking-photo channel, but they add nothing to the release time calculation. Official controls and Georgia law govern access and reuse.
Pulaski Weekend Release Checks
A 72-hour span is useful when a same-day check crosses a weekend or holiday. It lets a reader review more booking dates and can recover a row missed by a narrow date choice. Yet the report has no published update cadence. Court orders, bond processing, transfers, and data entry can occur on different schedules, so the status shown online may trail the agency event.
Use the date range as a catch-up tool, then ask for a timestamp. If a court order was entered before the weekend but jail processing ended later, only the jail record can identify the actual end of custody. If a bond amount is visible, do not assume it was posted. If a released row has a court label, save it and review the case disposition.

Georgia's Open Records Act supports access to public agency records while allowing lawful redactions and exemptions. No Pulaski sheriff copy fee was found in the reviewed official sources. Ask the office for a cost estimate. If part of a record is withheld, request the legal basis and any non-exempt portion that can be released.
Georgia VINE can add a custody-change notice when the person and facility participate and the user registered in time. It is not a full historic log. For a named-person search that extends beyond three arrest dates, use the Pulaski County release record paths, including court and agency checks.
Separate Pulaski Release Systems
Two major correctional systems operate in Pulaski County. Pulaski County Jail is run by the Sheriff's Office and uses the local jail report. Pulaski State Prison is run by the Georgia Department of Corrections. A release from the state prison is not documented by the sheriff's three-day report unless a separate county booking also exists.
| Custody type | Release confirmation path |
|---|---|
| Pulaski County Jail | Arrest-date status, jail release log, and controlling court. |
| Pulaski State Prison or GDC | GDC records, parole tools, DCS supervision records, VINE when covered, and sentencing court. |
| Federal prison | Bureau of Prisons locator and federal court records. |
| Immigration custody | ICE detainee locator and the responsible field office or facility. |
A county jail transfer closes one local custody event without ending all custody. Confirm the receiving agency before drawing a conclusion from a person disappearing from the current roster. A person arrested before the chosen range may still have been released within it, so widen the arrest dates when the first search fails.
